Valley Foods is an IGA affiliate. IGA was founded in 1926, bringing together independent grocers across the United States to ensure that the trusted, family-owned local grocery store remained strong in the face of growing chain competition. IGA is also based on customer service and satisfaction, their promise is:
A warm welcome from friendly, knowledgeable associates, great service and quick response to your special requests, locally-owned by people you know and trust at the heart of your community
Valley Foods stands by this promise and is always working hard to earn your business. We recently earned the “5 Star Award” from IGA, the only store in Wyoming to earn this award, which makes us all very proud!

Valley Foods is located in Saratoga, Wyoming, in the Upper North Platte Valley, with the North Platte River winding its way through the center of Saratoga. This picturesque valley is located between the Rocky Mountain and Sierra Madre mountain ranges, the Medicine Bow Routt National Forest and The Red Desert. Saratoga was recently named 8th in Outdoor Life magazine’s top outdoor recreation cities, and its true that opportunities for outdoor fun abound! Saratoga’s unofficial town motto of “Where the Trout Leap in Main Street” isn’t much exaggerated. Fishing on the Platte River and the Saratoga Lake is exceptional at any time of the year and during the summer months rafting and floating are almost a town obsession. A short drive away is the Snowy Range road, on Highway 130, and it’s many opportunities for hiking and camping. Fall offers Hunters a chance to hunt Mule and White Tail Deer, Elk, and Antelope, a limited number of Moose tags are filled each year as well. Winter brings the snow machines out in droves, the Sierra Madre’s offer the best local riding and snowfalls are normally quite generous. Don’t forget about the Hobo Hot Springs, open year round and always free. Valley Foods can help you get ready for that fishing, hunting, camping, hiking or sightseeing trip with our fresh Deli items, great Meat and Produce departments, and don’t forget our Liquor Store, it has all your favorite Beer and Liquor to make that day perfect as well as over 600 wines to choose from. So, it doesn’t matter if you live here or are just visiting, Valley Foods would be proud to have you shop with us!
